Comerica Park

Comerica Park, the home of the Detroit Tigers, was a key to the revitalization of the downtown Detroit entertainment district. The project broke ground in October 1997 and was ready when the team took the field on Opening Day 2000.

W.J. O’Neil was the prime mechanical contractor for the plumbing system and held the subcontracts for the sheet metal, temperature controls, and insulation. The six-month long project included all the mechanicals for the concessions as well as for the Tiger Den, The Cigar Bar, The Beer Hall, The Brushfire Grill, and all the kitchens.

The toilet rooms were fabricated in our Livonia fab shop and delivered for immediate and on time installation. Through our innovations, we were successful in completing the project ahead of schedule.
