Air Traffic Control Tower
W.J. O’Neil Company was the prime contractor for the complete mechanical systems for the FAA air traffic control tower at Detroit Metro Airport. We were responsible for all the plumbing, HVAC and temperature control work in the three-story building. All the plumbing was fabricated in our Livonia fab shop and delivered to the job site. WJO service department continues to do the service and maintenance on the air control tower as well as other buildings at the airport.

The McNamara Terminal Parking Garage
When the eight-story parking garage at the McNamara Terminal was built in 2003, it was the largest precast, freestanding parking deck built at one time. W.J. O’Neil was the mechanical contractor for the plumbing, and we handled the HVAC needs in the enclosed pedestrian bridge that connects the garage to the McNamara Terminal.
