Our company uses state-of-the-art orbital welding machines to perform 100% high purity welding.

Piping - W.J. O'Neil performs all types of piping in its fabrication shop. From general service
building piping to ASME B31.3 and B31.1 welding requirements. We also work with standard
carbon steel, stainless steels, aluminum, high nickels like the Hastalloys, to the new grade T-91
and P-91 9% chromium/1% Molybdenum high temperature chromemolys. About 40% of our
welding and fabrication is for other forms of piping rather than carbon steel piping.

Types of Welding - In addition to fabricating for our own field installations, outside customers
have come to us exclusively for fabrication only. W.J. O'Neil fabricates per the customer's
specifications, using custom welding procedures. Some of these exclusive fab jobs include customers such as: Dupont, Huntsman Chemical, General Motors, DaimlerChrysler,
Ford, IBM, Eli Lilly, Imclone Pharmaceuticals, and many utility companies around the country.

Latest in Fabrication - By creating the work in the fab shop and plugging it into the job,
downtime costs are almost nonexistent. To stay involved in the latest technology in pipe
fabrication, W.J. O'Neil Company is an active member of the Pipe Fabrication Institute. This
institute was created to develop industry standards of acceptance for welding and pipe fabrication.
Our company representatives actively participate on committees within the Institute, including
engineering. We are also board members of the Detroit Chapter of the "National Certified Pipe
Welding Bureau." Our involvement with these organizations helps our company achieve the
latest knowledge in welding technology and techniques, which in turn helps our customers'
needs.
